Internet Broadcasting is a provider of websites, content and advertising to leading television broadcasters such as Hearst-Argyle Television, Cox Media Group, Post-Newsweek, Meredith Broadcasting and McGraw-Hill Broadcasting. As a business analyst, I am responsible for scoping and estimation of development requests from the Cox Media Group. In addition to evaluating requests for technical feasibility, I am responsible for identifying needed skillsets, estimating hours, securing resources and setting development schedules. As a primary contact point for the customer, I will draft project orders and statements of work for custom projects.

In addition to project scoping, I am also responsible for monthly site metrics analysis for the Cox Media Group sites hosted by Internet Broadcasting.

Internet Broadcasting

Web Developer [October 2007 - May 2008]
Internet Broadcasting's network of sites is built upon an XSL and XML framework that is served through a server cloud via Akamai. I was the primary developer for 10 sites owned by former IB customer, NBC Broadcasting. Regular duties included updating CSS and JavaScript via IB's proprietary CMS. I would create and edit XSL specifically for the NBC sites, as well as XSL used by all sites on the IB network.

The Independent Record is the sole newspaper in the Montana capital of Helena. As graphic designer, I designed and produced graphics for the print and web editions of the paper. I regularly worked with reporters to identify the best subject matter for a story graphic. I also researched and designed a number of full-page info-graphics.

Beyond my programming responsibilities, I also designed and produced Flash banner ads for Buick and collaborated on Flash interactives for Buick.com.
