  Or not.

  I am once again going to try to kick the caffeine habit. And with that, Mountain Dew. It will be a tough battle, since my wife is an enabler and does the Dew like a fiend. But that’s OK. I still love her. I just hope she doesn’t lose all of her teeth before she turns 40.

  On a related note… do you remember the old Mountain Dew commercials? The ones from my youth? Cowboy hats, monster trucks, rope swings and large bodies of water? Well, I do. And I spent a few moments this morning tracking down some video to share. So enjoy.

• 06.23.06 Yo Gabba Gabba! posted in nora, television

  It appears that having a child might actually have some benefits. Like watching this new children’s show, Yo Gabba Gabba. There’s a robot, a monster, a rapper and more. By the looks of the production gallery, it’s going to be full of lots of bright colors and bold shapes. The kid will love that. And so will dad. I’ve listened to a few of their song samples weeks ago (can’t find links to them today), and the show teaches childen how to be polite and responsible using beat box and repetition. How wonderful. And they’ve got Biz Markie!
