We just experienced a small quake here in Helena. Not quite as big as the one centered in Dillon a while back (5.7 magnitude), but it shook the house pretty evenly.
Bizarre.
UPDATE: 4.6 magnitude.
UPDATE: My AP reporter of a wife tells me that the official reading is now 4.6, not the initial report of 3.7.
AWESOME! I can’t wait until they have a GAP up there.
NASA wants permanent moon base
HOUSTON, Texas (CNN) — NASA’s plans for returning people to the moon — an objective called for by President Bush in 2004 — includes establishing a permanent outpost that would be used to prepare for a manned trip to Mars.
Scienticians at Arizona State U have apparently discovered exploding geysers of frozen carbon dioxide and sand on Mars. Those who know me know that I love ice and geysers, so would could be better than an ice geyser?
