Elkhart Lake again posted in friends, personal, photes
It was time for the now annual trip to Elkhart Lake, WI for the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association’s Vintage Festival. Besides the unexplainable number of dying flies in our room, it was a grand ol’ time. On the way there, I dropped Nora off at my mother’s. From what I heard, she had a pretty good time, too.
Harlo took more photos with his camera (I brought my little digital video cam… videos to be uploaded at some point).

Chuck E Cheese’s! posted in nora, personal, photes
We took Nora to Chuck E Cheese’s today for the first time. It was an absolute zoo. Nora wasn’t too into playing any of the games, though she did try to throw the skee ball. The poor ball only made it halfway up the ramp. She did, however, enjoy putting coins into the games. So much so, that she wasted a few coins on dead slots and whatnot.
In the end, we got 72 prize tickets… which were redeemable for 3 stickers, the world’s smallest frisbee, and a “wacky” straw. LAME.

Nora Burrito! posted in nora, personal, photes
It appears to be the flavor of the week. Nora Burrito.
Nora wants me to roll her up in a blanket just like I do with Rabbit in her blanket. When she’s all rolled up, she says “Take me!” Which means she wants me to take her to show Sarah.
After we unrolled her, she wanted to roll me up. And then she tried to “take” me. She may be strong, but she’s not that strong.

Twin Cousins unite! posted in nora, personal, photes
It’s fairly uncanny at how much Nora and her cousin Emily look and act alike. Nora’s a year behind, but we can totally see the way she will act in a year just by looking at Emily. They get along famously.

Road trippin’ posted in personal, photes
Don’t let the picture fool you. I did all of the driving. All of it. Michelle only drove for about an hour.
Emily was an absolute peach the entire time. According to her, the Sears Tower is the biggest building she’s ever seen. Which is true. But it’s awesome to hear a 3-year-old say that.

Heading to Virginia posted in personal, photes
In my never-ending quest to be the favorite son and brother, I am flying to Virginia Beach to drive my Sister and her 3-year-old daughter home to Gillett. According to Google, it’s a 19 hour drive… but that’s with out a 3-year-old with a bladder the size of a walnut. Hopefully, all goes well.
Oh… and that Hurricane Hannah is supposed to hit town in the morning. It’ll be nice to get out ahead of that rain.
