Ahhhhhhhhhh posted in personal, photes, the cats

Master Matthew rearranged some furniture today, and one such rearrangement was the repositioning of the book and blanket shelf into the bedroom. It had previously been taking up space in the living room. I am much more pleased with it’s present location for two reasons. The first being that one of my favorite sleeping spots is now more secluded in the bedroom. The second reason being that it is now covering a floor vent from which exits a warm warm air. I find that it can be quite relaxing if I settle myself underneath the shelving and next to the vent. This arrangement shall be quite nice.

Home. Home again. posted in personal, photes, the cats
Well, well, well. There you are. While you and the lady were away with Miss Nora, a strange man came to the house and was quite busy in the bathroom. I would be remiss if I did not voice my disapproval of this man disturbing my sleeping nook in the towels. I have been without a proper place of seclusion for days.

This is awesome! posted in personal, photes, the cats

I say, this is one spectacular day. Not only is the house devoid of the whimsical screams of little Miss Nora, but Sir Matthew has removed all of the bathroom linens to the dining room table. Finally, I can lay in the sun while laying on a towel while perched high on the dining room table. It is positively capital!

I sure could use a nibble of kibble posted in personal, photes, the cats

The wait for food is interminable around here. I understand that we’ve got one of them fancy machines that serves us, but even so. I would much prefer to have a giant bowl of kibble available to me at all times. Do I not deserve it? I am the Earl of Willikers! And Miss Pumpkin is no slouch, either. Despite her Valley Girl tendancies, I am quite certain that she descends from royalty. Most likely the French.

This Water is Most Unacceptable. posted in nora, the cats
It would seem that the Wolfe family has been so busy tending the needs of young miss Nora that they have wholly forgotten to clean out our water dish. Sure, it is a technological wonder with its recycling action and filter, but it hardly removes all the dirt from the water. At this very moment, there are no less than three dead insects floating where we drink. Granted, they are very small insects, and they are trapped in a constant eddy near the suction point of the recycling pump.
Until this matter is resolved, I intend to partake of the tub faucet water. It’s always cold and always clean. The only drawback is that it isn’t always flowing. I once again have to rely on a break in the child-rearing duties of Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe before I can quench my thirst.

My new housemate has arrived. posted in nora, the cats
And she is positively adorable. Never in all my years have my eyes been set upon a child so enchanting. I have yet to embrace the youthful wails of Miss Nora, but the rest of the lot sits just right with me. I eagerly look forward to the days when I will be able to curl up and sleep next to her.

This feline has painted himself a heel! posted in nora, the cats
It has only just now become apparent to my person that the lovely Mrs. Wolfe is with child! Prior to the attainment of this knowledge, I had simply surmised that the lady was letting herself go. Far be it for a gentleman, such as i am, to make social and verbal blunders by assuming a woman is with child when she may very well be struggling with a little extra weight in the tummy. I had thusly kept my assumptions in my coat and treated her as I always have.
It was Miss Underfoot that informed me of this joyous news. She had exclaimed excitement at the arrival of Mrs. Wolfe’s mother, whom she said had come to town so as to witness the blessed event. I say! Everything is becoming quite clear now that I think about it. The new room? The small bed? All of the comfortable new blankets? It has most certainly all been done for a child.
I should suspect that any day now my Lady will begin the labor required to birth a child into this world. I bloody hope it all goes well and fast. I am eager to entertain my impending housemate.
