We dropped Nora off with grandma Cooke and drove 10 hours to Detroit for to watch our friends Jason Wulff and Roselle Baggayan tie the knot. It was a beautiful wedding, and we got to see a lot of our friends. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it to Lafayette Coney Island. I only hope it won’t be another 5 years before I have the best coney dogs in the world.

Time to start pinching pennies… we’ve got another kid on the way. Nora is so far nonplussed about the news, but we hope to get her excited about it in the coming months. She’s becoming more and more helpful around the house, and with any luck, she won’t go nuclear on us when we bring a new baby into the house.
Now, Gordon on the other hand… we fully expect him to get super-pissed.

We got Nora a new pair of sunglasses today. They are a little tight on her, but they are about 100x stronger then her last pair of cheap-o glasses. Hopefully, she won’t break these with her super strength.

We took the crib apart today and put in the day-bed rails. Nora absolutely loves it. After her first nap in it, she brought toys back to bed and played for nearly an hour before getting out of bed.
