Sarah got me an early birthday gift that came in this box. Not sure why we didn’t take pictures of the gift (it’s a child-carrier backpack for hiking). We left the room for 30 seconds to fetch some refreshments, and when we returned, Nora was in the box.

Or maybe it is.
We gave Nora some shredded cheese today. She was hesitant at first, but she quickly began to enjoy the new flavor. I don’t think she particularly enjoys how hard it is to get the tiny shreds into her mouth, though. Practice, Nora. Practice.

I haven’t laughed like this in a long time. Seems there was a mishap during the editing process, and this program lost half of their eagle footage. So, they wrote a song to help fill time. Brilliantly funny.

Now that Nora is such an adept crawler, we have gone out and bought a gate to keep her confined to the living room. She seems oddly delighted with it’s arrival. I just how she doesn’t find a way to climb over it. She’s so darn strong!

Our friend Anne has a father. And that father has a cabin in Darby, MT. To say it’s just a cabin is like saying that Optimus Prime is just a robot. It’s a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. And the closest you get to “roughing it” is trying to light a fire in the fireplace.
We drank. We ate. We played Apples to Apples.

It was mexican night at the Ofsyer/Rosenbaum household and quesadilla’s were on the menu. There was, of course, also mexican beer and tortilla chips as well as a pair of scurrying cats and one restless child. Food and fun were had by all.
