Oy. We drove the 10+ hours from Helena to Minot with a moody child. Why would we do that? To see my sister-in-law and our two nephews of course. Unfortunately, we didn’t have cell coverage when we got there. So, we couldn’t call Kathy for directions. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem, because I can be pretty good with a city map and an address.
But LO! Minot has a horrible street system. They’ve gone and divided their city into quadrants, with each quadrant being home to streets 1-30. We needed to find 200 19th Street. Fat chance when there are 4 different 19th Streets and half of them start and stop on a whim with whole blocks unmarked on the city map. “Why not Minot?” indeed.
