And ready to pop any day now basically, which is crazy to me. I still can’t fathom that I’m going to be a mom and Matthew is going to be a dad. Doesn’t seem real to me….but I know it sure will soon! Last day of work is Friday (thank you Jesus) if I haven’t had the baby in the next two days, that is, and we go to the doctor again Tuesday. Cross your fingers for us everyone! This is going to be a wild ride.

‘Tis true. ‘Tis true.
We’ve got a baby on the way. We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl, but we’re pretty sure it will be a handful. Just about everything we could possibly need is packed into our bedroom and basement. Diapers, onesies, toys, books, socks, blankets, more diapers and more onesies. All in anticipation of the child.
“Why don’t you put it all into the baby’s room?” you ask. Well… we would, except that the baby’s room seems to be in standby mode. We’ve been working to renovate it for what seems like forever. Our carpenter-friend is always late, a no show, or simply finds another job that is more important to do. Good news is that the only thing left to do is nail the trip on the walls, window and door. But we can’t move anything into the room until that is done, so we’re left hanging.

We are sorry for the horrendously long hiatus, but Matthew and Sarah have been a tad bit preoccupied. You see, they’re having a child any day now. ‘Tis due on the 25th, but it might just drop sooner. We’ll see.
At any rate, they should be able to blog more regularly in the near future. Who knows, maybe the kid will start blogging before long.
